bullet Taylor Swift donates #66,600 to build new playground corner

Singer Taylor Swift has donated 66,600 pounds to build a new playground in the Tennessee town where she went to school.

Swift has made to donation to help the ones who have been struggling in the wake of the 2010 floods that swept through Hendersonville.

According to CMT.com, her business manager has suggested that the funds will go toward updating the Kids Kingdom play area, as well as the city's volleyball courts.

"We appreciate Taylor's donation as well as all the others who have stepped up," the Daily Star quoted Hendersonville spokesman Dave LeMarbre as saying.

The old playground would be rebuild rebuilt in early 2011. (ANI)
