The Chicago Bears signed veteran wideouts Dante Pettis and Tajae Sharpe to one-year deals Thursday.
To clear room on the roster, the Bears waived receivers Cyrus Holder and Henry Litwin.
Pettis, 26, caught 10 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in three games with the New York Giants in 2021. The 2018 second-round draft pick has 52 catches for 739 yards and nine scores in 33 games (12 starts) with the San Francisco 49ers (2018-20) and Giants (2020-21).
Sharpe, 27, had 25 catches for 230 yards and no touchdowns in 15 games (seven starts) with the Atlanta Falcons last season. The 2016 fifth-round pick has 117 receptions for 1,397 yards and eight scores in 66 games (36 starts) with the Tennessee Titans (2016, 2018-19), Minnesota Vikings (2020) and Falcons.
Darnell Mooney is the top returning receiver for the Bears with 81 catches for 1,055 yards and four TDs in 2021. Veteran Allen Robinson signed with the Los Angeles Rams in free agency.
